De wijk Gràcia staat bij de lokale bevolking hoog aangeschreven en is er derhalve grote vraag daar te kunnen wonen. Het is de kleinste wijk van Barcelona, heeft een eigen karakter en waarvan het Parque Güell, het kunstwerk van Antoni Gaudí, onderdeel is.
Er zijn veel kleine restaurants, cafés en terrassen die het leven wel zo plezierig maken. Twee minuten lopen en u bevindt zich op de meest bekende Passeig de Gràcia, met de high end fashion zaken en beroemde mode merken, geinstalleerd in de meest mooie en indrukwekkende gebouwen van rond 1900.
Zoals de fotos reeds laten zien, is het appartement gereformeerd, goed onderhouden en aangenaam gemeubileerd. Mocht u toch een een regenachtige dag tussendoor hebben, dan helpt dit appartement in Gràcia er u zonder moeite doorheen!

"Cosy, clean, centrally located flat with friendly and helpful owners"

Just stayed 3 nights at this flat. The owners gave us lots of information on arrival about transport and e.g. supermarkets/restaurants nearby. Air conditioning worked well and we needed it! Although centrally located, very quiet at night so no need to worry about noise. Flat was very clean and all the appliances we used (fridge, toaster, gas hob, dishwasher) worked as they were supposed to. Very easy to walk to Diagonal metro from here (5 mins) and from there easy to access the rest of the city, which was good for my mother who is in her 70s and could not walk so much on top of the actual sightseeing. The lift was good for her too because at the end of the day, it would have been tiring to walk up the stairs - even for me! For anyone younger it would have been possible to reach most things on foot or by bike and bike rental was nearby as well. Small convenience store was open daily from 9-11pm so if you needed small bits and pieces this was good. We ate out most of the time (BTW we highly recommend BO tapas bar which was in the square at the top of the street) and just cooked one night so we did not need much. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it to friends. Thanks again to Simone and Miquel for their friendly welcome! This was perfect for our needs.

All the previous very positive reviews have confirmed the friendly reception and guidance received at our arrival. Miguel and Simone were super hosts and we immediately felt as at home.I particularly loved the location, walking distance near the subway, or next bus stations, having several small restaurants and wine locations near by. Barrio de Gracia is a great place for good dinning and wine with friends-several locations that one never gets bored. We were with children, and still managed good dinning, the Spanish night flair and joy are superb! We were very near Passeig de Gracia, with very chic and decent stores. El Corte Ingles is reachable by foot i( a good 30 min walk) along the avenue. The apartment is comfortable for 3 persons has all essentials one needs and it is warming bright. Although near the main streets, I was positively surprised how silent it is. We slept very well. The Wifi worked perfectly.You can have a Spanish like breakfast at the several bakeries near by if one is lazy to prepare coffee. I pretend to go back to Barcelona and will stay again at the Jardinets.
