Airy and inviting the loft is fitted out for your pleasure and convenience. There is a sofa bed, a double bed, a charming dining table for three and for your entertainment there is a flat screen television. The kitchen is open plan and equipped with everything you might need to prepare your meals.

The bathroom is fresh & white and it has a shower. There is air conditioning and heating, which makes this loft perfect for stays all year round. The apartment is on the first floor and the building has a lift, a luxury in the historic part of the city.

Right on the historic Borne quarters in a typical 18th century building, the Borne Basilica Lofts have an enthralling romantic view over ancient rooftops and the enigmatic Basílica Santa María del Mar, also known as the Cathedral of the Sea. This extraordinary location offers the captivating allure of the medieval city with its residential palaces, Gothic and Renaissance buildings and the ancient jousting strip of the Passeig del Borne.

The streets on this medieval quarter were named by the guilds which found them: the Mirallers street, those who worked glass; the Espartería street, those who made baskets; and the Sombrerers Street, where the apartments are situated were the hat makers.

Surrounded by the charming contrast between the old and the new, enjoy the fashionable boutiques, wine stores, trendy restaurants, tapas' bars and café terraces – a must visit to the picturesque Gispert store, right at your doorstep. The Picasso Museum and the Textile Museum are just a 100 metres away; the Ramblas are a few steps away and even the beach is walking distance; nonetheless there is a nearby metro station in the Plaza Sant Jaume.
