Description

A nice cozy apartment! It may not be big, the patio makes it much bigger and is an excellent added value. Being able to sit outside, have dinner or breakfast there, makes all the difference. The immediate surrounding takes you back to XIX century. Not much changed in this street as you will see on the photo. However, the building was renovated inside in 2009, so do not worry in that respect!

The location is excellent. Within 5 minutes walking you are on the Principe Real, a well-known square from where you can take the bus or taxi if you want. However, walking down the Rua Dom Pedro V into the city is a pleasure. On the left you will encounter an old fashioned tram/elevator, just going up and down to take you downtown to sea level or, a little futher, appreciate the small renovated park with an amazing view over the city and river Tago.
The area of the apartment is very quiet and with just some minutes walking you are in the middle of the city or, if you like, the nightlife of bairro Alto with lots of restaurants and cafés.
