This apartment is located in the old part of the city, near to many land marks and the well known Square Principe Real.

The accommodation is very pleasant with lots of light and windows specially made to assure you a quiet night rest. Although the building is not very old (1970), the facade of it is covered with the traditional blue tiles. And if you would come by car you will find a 24 hour parking place within 3 minutes walking.

The area has a lot to show. It is within walking distance from the Botanic Garden, Marquês de Pombal Palace, Convent Cardaes, Parlement Palace, Natural History Museum, Pharmacy Museum, San Roque Church and Museum, Contemporary Art Museum, São Carlos National Opera Theater, Carmo Convent.... to mention a few interesting sites.
It is also within walking distance from the neighbourhood of Chiado where you can take the public lift to Baixa, which is on sea level with the mouth of the river Tago at the end. And if you like nightlife with lots of bars, restaurants and Fado, it will take you 15 minutes walking. The immediate surrounding is quiet with good quality restaurants and nice cafe's, art galleries and antique shops.
Also very practical is the fact that there is a nearby supermarket, open 7 days a week, bakery, fruit, fish and flowers market, pharmacy, playground, swimming pool and gym.
