You enter the Plaza Catalunya apartment through a discreet and elegant door that pulls you away from the hasty streets. The living room area is spacious and cosy with a beautiful enlarged photograph of one of Barcelona's iconic attractions painted on the wall. It has a large flat screen TV, radio, CD player and Wi-Fi Internet. There is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with microwave oven/grill, fridge-freezer, a coffee machine and a kettle. A lovely balcony, like a theatre box, is a privileged location for watching the lively narrow streets and seeping the Mediterranean sunlight.

A romantic bedroom view of the belfry of Santa Ana church makes this spacious and bright bedroom unique. The bathroom is new and fresh with shower and bathtub. The Plaza Catalunya B provides all the modern conveniences of your own home.

The apartment can accommodate four persons – twin beds in the bedroom plus a double sofa-bed in the living room. It has an elevator, a luxury in the old district.

The Plaza Catalunya apartment is on a marvellous location, 20 metres from the famous Las Ramblas and one step from Portal del Ángel. Santa Ana street, where the apartment is located, owes its name to a hidden church. The XV century Gate, two doors away from the apartment, introduces you to a small square with a luscious garden and the serene beauty of the double cluster gallery of Santa Ana, concealed from the bustle of the streets.

The apartment is on Portal del Ángel, one of the old city's Gates and today one of the main shopping streets in Barcelona. El Portal del Ángel continues to be the passing through into the Gothic quarters, the Cathedral and the trendy Borne with its variety of restaurants and shops. Or you can walk down Las Ramblas and enjoy the shops, the street artists, the colourful abundance of the Mercado de la Boquería and the Famous theatre el Liceu.

Right at the heart of Barcelona, the Plaza de Catalunya station is a few meters away with subways and trains going everywhere.
