Right on the historic Borne quarters in a typical 18th century building, the Borne Basilica Lofts have an enthralling romantic view over ancient rooftops and the enigmatic Basílica Santa María del Mar, also known as the Cathedral of the Sea. This extraordinary location offers the captivating allure of the medieval city with its residential palaces, Gothic and Renaissance buildings and the ancient jousting strip of the Passeig del Borne.

The streets on this medieval quarter were named by the guilds which found them: the Mirallers street, those who worked glass; the Espartería street, those who made baskets and the Sombrerers Street that of the hat makers, where the apartments are situated.
