Beautiful authentic apartment located at the corner of Amsterdam’s famous Skinny Bridge and overlooking the Amstel river.

Both location and apartment are absolutely stunning. The apartment is divided over three floors. The entrance is at street level, from here you walk straight into the bright dining area with view over the Skinny Bridge. At the back is the fully equipped open plan kitchen including a sitting area with high table and barstools.

The open stairs in the centre of the apartment lead to the lovely master bedroom with double bed and the open en-suite bathroom. The well-designed bathroom features bath, separate shower, double sink and toilet.

At the first floor is the cosy living room with sofa, arm chair and large flat screen TV with DVD. Through the living room you reach the second bedroom which features a comfortable double bed and TV. This bedroom comes with the most amazing view over the Skinny bridge and the Amstel river. The sofa bed in the living room enables six persons to sleep in the apartment. A separate toilet with sink can be found on this floor as well.

Area

The apartment is located along the Amstel river on the corner of the famous Magere brug (skinny bridge). This picturesque wooden drawbridge was built across the river Amstel in 1670. The original bridge acquired the name from being so narrow.

Cross the bridge and you find yourself in the middle of the lovely canal belt area. The Utrechtsestraat with its abundance of restaurants, cafés and boutiques is close by and main sights such as The Hermitage and the Carré Theatre are just a stone throw away. The eclectic nightlife of the Rembrandtsquare is within walking distance.
